La escuder\u00eda decidi\u00f3 reservar esa unidad para otra carrera, por lo que el mexicano reconoce que asumir\u00e1n una p\u00e9rdida de rendimiento durante el fin de semana que se disputar\u00e1 en Sepang, Malasia.<\/p>\n<p>Checo explic\u00f3 que el monoplaza presenta dos problemas principales: falta de carga aerodin\u00e1mica y demasiada resistencia al avance. Cadillac considera que utilizar ahora el nuevo motor no representa su mejor oportunidad, por lo que decidi\u00f3 conservarlo pese a que el propio piloto mexicano admiti\u00f3 que las expectativas para esta carrera no son demasiado altas.<\/p>\n<p>La competencia tendr\u00e1 un significado especial para P\u00e9rez por su historia en Sepang. En 2012 consigui\u00f3 ah\u00ed su primer podio en F\u00f3rmula 1 cuando termin\u00f3 segundo con Sauber, \u00fanicamente detr\u00e1s de Fernando Alonso.
