Visiones nuevas desde el viejo mundo, integrada por cuarenta obras gr\u00e1ficas inspiradas en grabados coloniales de Theodor de Bry. La muestra, exhibida en el Instituto Cultural de M\u00e9xico en Espa\u00f1a, retoma im\u00e1genes sobre el Nuevo Mundo para cuestionar la representaci\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica de los pueblos ind\u00edgenas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Las obras reinterpretan series como El buen salvaje, Antropofagia y La destrucci\u00f3n de las Indias, creadas por el grabador belga durante el siglo XVI. Flores actualiza esas im\u00e1genes mediante referencias contempor\u00e1neas y un lenguaje visual que confronta la construcci\u00f3n de la otredad, la violencia simb\u00f3lica y los discursos utilizados para justificar la colonizaci\u00f3n europea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La exposici\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n establece v\u00ednculos entre las narrativas coloniales y la violencia contempor\u00e1nea en M\u00e9xico, adem\u00e1s de otros conflictos actuales.
